This would NOT affect 99% of the people I see but for those that it would i.e. a person with a exceptional need for advice personally from a capital gains event, an inheritance or tax/audit issue it would be an unfair and silly outcome. Large claims are tested and normally picked up via the ATO methods of audit/review, this is not adding any value to the system that’s already in place. If it was aimed at the wealthy it will not land on them only this way. Real improvements to the tax system are needed and lacking from government. #VJCadvice
