Premier Perrottet’s NSW Covid business support package to help businesses “doing it tough”. Here are the details:

  • Businesses annual turnover of between $75,000 and $50 million,
  • Experiencing a drop in turnover of 40 per cent in January and February,
  • Will be able to claim up to 20 per cent of the payroll up to $5000 a week under the financial support scheme.

This scheme is expected to assist more than 100,000 businesses across NSW which were impacted by the soaring infection rates over summer.

Mr Perrottet also announced:

  • A fees and charges rebate scheme worth $2000 would be increased to $3000 to support the purchase of RATs.
  • An extension of a rental relief scheme to support landlords.
